The Department of Health and Social Care (DHSC) recommend 150 minutes exercise a week for health benefits. If it is a more realistic target for you there is also research which suggests you aim for 10,000 steps a day to maintain good daily activity levels. However, we know that any exercise is beneficial and the amount you can realistically manage may change through your pregnancy journey.
